Dr. Foutz and his wife moved to the Vail Valley full time in 2009, after living here part-time for 15 years. They have two adult children who like to visit and enjoy skiing, hiking and snowshoeing together.

Dr. Foutz has many years of experience in Internal Medicine and has developed areas of expertise in Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Arthritis, and Diagnostics. “I knew I wanted to be a doctor in college because of my aptitude in the sciences and humanities. But, I was convinced after my experience in clinical work at mental health facilities during my externships in Psychology”.

Dr. Foutz believes in a collaborative compassionate relationship with his patients so they feel he is approachable when they have questions or are in a crisis.
