Jack Eck, MD

Residency:  Presbyterian Medical Center, Denver, CO

In practice since 1969, Dr. Eck's busy practice involves treating all manner of in-depth adult internal medicine. He is a Federal Aviation Examiner and very involved with the Shaw Cancer Center. Dr. Eck is a native of Pennsylvania, served in the US Army, and was a Vail Ski patrolman in the early days of Vail. He not only cares for a large portion of the valley's residents and guests, but serves on the Vail Valley Medical Center Hospital Board of Directors. He also functions as Vail's Ski Patrol advising physician.

Dr. Eck is married with two children and many nieces and nephews.  He enjoys piloting small aircraft and traveling and is an avid outdoorsman.

Dr. Gray enjoys seeing adult patients of all ages and her practice includes the full range of internal medicine. She has extensive experience with international medicine and regularly performs travel consults in the office. Having worked in four different Latin American countries, she is also fluent in Spanish. Dr. Gray is seeing patients in the Edwards office on the second floor of the Shaw Center.

Outdoor activities include running, biking, hiking & skiing. She also enjoys time with her husband and two young children.

Tracee Metcalfe, MD

Residency: University of Washington (Seattle)

Dr. Metcalfe's practice includes the full spectrum of Internal Medicine with a special interest in Women's Health and keeping people independent and healthy as they age.

She has received many honors during her graduate and undergraduate studies, and is very well published. Dr. Metcalfe and her husband enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities which include skiing, rock climbing, white water kayaking, hiking and running.

In practice since 1987, Dr. Stephens enjoys general internal medicine and is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Dr. Stephens enjoys family activities including  backcountry skiing, mountain biking, the arts and Bible study.
