Dr. Cooper moved to Vail from Seattle, in November 2008. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and has won numerous awards for her scholarship, teaching and patient care. She has been practicing medicine since 1993, taking care of patients with complex medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and kidney failure. Dr. Cooper’s practice is based on open communication with the understanding that achieving and maintaining health depends on an active collaboration between patient and physician.

In her free time you can find Dr. Cooper downhill skiing, snow shoeing, playing golf, biking and shopping for the perfect pair of black boots. She tries to balance these activities with yoga, pilates, and meditation.
